Title: Italian Teams in UEFA Post by: campioni on September 17, 2009, 04:40:40 AM While the italian teams in CL didn't do so well I think we'll see the italian teams in UEFA conquer. Todays matches include:
SS Lazio vs. FC Salzburg AS Roma vs. FC Basel Genoa vs. Slavia Praha I think Lazio have it the easiest because basel and slavia aren't weak teams. I do think all the italian teams have a shot at winning today unlike yesterday's CL matches where I wasn't really confident in the italian teams. My prediction - italian teams will all win today. Rome who have had a tough season in the league lost today to FC Basel and Lazio who were leading at one point thanks to substitue foggia but ended up giving up the lead at the end of the game. It seems like Italian soccer is not what is used to be 4 or 5 years ago and italian teams are now struggling on the international stage.
