Every World Cup there's always much debate on "who the next hero is going to be".

However, in the eyes of the soccer devout , it's really a team sport in the end.  Yet, we always witness that one player that stands out among the rest.  They seem to hypnotized us by their skills, hustle, tactful maneuvers; whatever the case may be we are drawn to certain players.  One player that has always had that effect on me is Gianluigi Buffon.

"Superman"  (Buffon) has to be one of the greatest players to step on to the pitch wearing an Azzurri Jersey.

Not just fabulous athlete, but also leader and a class act who knows how to motivate his players and his fans.

“We need to re-find our certainties and return to being a team,” Buffon said to Sport.it.

These are words that come from a person who thinks before he act. And Lippi needs to recruit players like this.

Here's 10 reason to show

Forza Italia!!!!

Great Video.. he's like a cat. I can't imagine what the team will be like after buffon and his successors will have some big shoes to fill. How do you take over for the guy who is arguably the best goal keeper of all time. Italy has always had great keepers and the ones that I remember from past who have played for italy were  zenga, marchegiani, toldo, peruzzi  and buffon who were all exceptional keepers but nobody stands out like any of these names in serie a.
